Guest Room & Studio

This is our guest room, but is mostly used as my husband's office and display for historical trinkets!

My husband had the framed map already so I had shelves made to surround it on the wall.  I used the Rakks system, and Sawdust Inc. in KCMO made the shelves laminated with a zebrawood style Formica.

The old carpet was removed in my studio and replaced with the same engineered wood throughout the living space.

The cube bookshelf against the orange accent wall is from West Elm, my desk is actually a rolling console table from cb2 along with the two rolling file cabinets.  I had sheet metal cut from Western Metal in Lousiburg, KS for a magnetic thought-board, and I found the vintage chair from Mission Antique Mall.
